Minced meat and spelled pizza for the whole family

Koko perheen jauheliha-spelttipitsa

The whole family will enjoy this pizza. The perfect pizza base is guaranteed by Hunaja-Aita's premium multi-flower honey.

Raw materials base (1 tray):

  • 3 dl warm water
  • 2 teaspoons Hunaja-Aita premium multi-flower honey (internal link to the product)
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • About 5 ½ dl Birkkala (https://www.birkkala.com/speltti)
  • semi-coarse spelled flour, whole grain
  • 1 tablespoon of oil

Recipe:

Mix the dry yeast with the flour. Mix honey and salt in warm water. Add most of the flour, add the oil and the rest of the flour. The dough should remain quite loose. Let rise, covered, until about double. Spread the pizza dough using flour on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Pre-bake the pizza base at 250 degrees in the lower part of the oven for 10 min.

Pizza sauce and toppings

Tomato sauce:

  • 200g pureed tomato (herb)
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan
  • Cook the sauce ingredients slowly for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to concentrate. Add grated parmesan at the end.

Topping:

  • 400 g fried minced meat (brown properly)
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 tomatoes
  • Morrarella cheese
  • Grated cheese

Fry and brown the minced meat properly with the onion. Spread the tomato sauce on the pre-baked pizza base, add the minced meat onion mixture, tomato slices, mozzarella cheese and grated cheese. Finish with oregano. Enjoy!
