Fresh honey-ginger flavored water
You have to take care of your fluid balance during the sauna. This flavored water is not only freshness at its best, but also a healthy sauna drink option.
- Raw materials (2 liters):
- 100g of fresh ginger
- 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons of Hunaja-Aita multi-flower honey
- Fresh basil (optional)
Recipe:
- Put 1.5 liters of water in the pot to heat on a low heat (the water should not be boiled but heated)
- Chop the ginger with the peel and add it to the water, let it simmer on a low heat for 20 minutes
- Strain the ginger out of the water and add honey, stir until the honey melts and let cool to room temperature
- Add the juice of one medium lemon, mix
- Add cold water to the honey-ginger-lemon water in a ratio of 50/50
- Add plenty of ice and, if desired, fresh basil
